INTERVIEWS
Italian artist Nico Vascellari was awarded the Giovane Arte Italiana Prize at the 52nd Biennale di Venezia. He is presenting a performative work and a performance space that have a lot to do with the punk noise underground music; a kind of indipendent scene he is really involved in, being himself the front man of the band With Love.
Nico Vascellari, Revenge, Sala Marceglia Arsenale, Venezia, 2007.
We met him and together with curator Lorenzo Fusi we talked about Revenge – which by no chance is the title of his work – and about the balance or unbalance between the very institutional space of the Biennale and the underground scene he cames from.
The conversation is in Italian.
