Jens Hanning is a Danish artist whose ouvre focuses on social dynamics, on power, conflict and integration related phonomena. He often depicts issues og co-existence and the exclusion of marginalized groups. He was visiting professor at Networking 2007, a program of workshops and shows addressing and engaging a shortlisted group of young artists based in Tuscany. We met him and we talked about his own practice and about the workshop format: how does he manage to trigger the participants in terms of involvement and creativity?
