Some call it sound-art, new music, research sounds, acoustic experimentations or liminal sounds, we just call them Pepite, golden nuggets: tips on sound research, precious bits of our programming. Each week we select few pepites and highlight them into our free from streaming.

This week we delve into Parade, a special side project by Bolognese label Trovarobato, hosting and nurturing experimental music productions, avant-jazz and many varied music ventures. We inaugurate our survey with Parade’s first release by Der Mauer, the solo project by clarinetist Enrico Gabrielli. In New York Counterpoint he tests himself with Steve Reich and throughout the album he deals with many references and sources taken both from classical and pop music. A great album you can download from here.

Now that it's the opposite, it's twice upon a time by Hobocombo is dedicated to America composer Moondog and it feats Rocco Marchi  - guitar – Andrea Belfi – voice and drums – Francesca Baccolini, voice and double bass. Well produced and a great listening!

Last by not least, Tratto da una storia che accadrà by Tomme, composer and drummer based in Prato, in perfect balance between electronics and rhythmics.

That’s all, enjoy the listening and we’ll be back next week with our Pepite.
