Natascha Sadr Haghighian - There's no such a think like a solo artist

INTERVIEWS

Natascha Sadr Haghighian lives and works in Germany. That’s more or less what we know about her biographical notes. As part of her larger project of critiquing institutionalized regimes of knowledge, Haghighian rejects the totalizing ideas of CVs, resumes, and bios. She’s not even interested in introducing herself as an artist: her research is entirely devoted to finding ways of active engagement in society and in contributing to its interpretation. We met her in Faenza during the Contemporary art festival and starting from bioswop – an exchancing platform for CV - we talked about identity and representation.

The music that goes with the interview has been selected out of Mathias Stubø's EP Mushrooms, released by Sojus Records and Massimo Berizzi's what remains in a breath, released by 51 beats - an electronic experience.
