Arcangelo Sassolino - Qui e ora

INTERVIEWS

Arcangelo Sassolino lives and works in Vicenza, deep in the industrial North-Eastern Italy, the kind of landscape his work is fed with. His work, we had the chance to ge to know better at the Galleria Continua, on the occasion of his first solo show, makes the audiece uneasy, it addresses our nerve with its mechanical tension and coolness. Let’s take the nitrogen-powered sculpture that shot empty glass bottles against a net at 600 k/hr…Will we be hurt? Is it dangerous?
