Some call it sound-art, new music, research sounds, acoustic experimentations or liminal sounds, we just call them Pepite, golden nuggets: tips on sound research, precious bits of our programming. Each week we select few Pepite and highlight them into our free from streaming.

We open our ears to a lot of new and rich sounds, embarking on a long trip towards fascinating shores. From Sardinia, just around the corner, to the most inhospitable Siberia.

We start with the latest work by Pie Are Squared, (Hungover in) Siberia, an album constructed by Egyptian composer Mohammed Ashraf to pay homage to a plethora of human emotions, partly inspired by the seemingly infinite Siberian landscapes.

It is instead from Pamplona that comes Free by Mailu, published by the folks at Fracaso.

We move then to Alghero where we meet electroacustic composer Marco Dibeltulu and his Sguardo Contemporaneo.
