This production aims to experiment an acoustic dimension able to transform the perception of the place it relates to. The low-fi speakers usially used for service or commercial announcement inside the mall space are transformed into a detournament device, a communication system for beauty and ease.
It is the augmented reality concept applied to sound: the sonorization wants to create new level of sonic surreality able to deform the perception of reality. Music becomes a virtual space, invisible, fluctuating inside a physical space; an acoustic suspension between the ceiling and people's heads as in Wim Wender's Wings of Desire when the protagonis is able to listen to the passers-by's thoughts. The ambition is to create a sonic meditation as in (Tarkovskij's Stalker) able to create a new, ephemeral, volatile identuty for a place. For it not to be yet another non place.
